There are currently approximately 400 members, covering all the disciplines of small-bore rifle, small-bore pistol, air rifle and air pistol shooting.

For over 25 years the ESSU has sent air gun teams to Holland to compete in InterShoot , one of the largest airgun championships in Europe.  This is held at the beginning of February each year in Den Haag.

Our major event each year is the ESSU Rifle, Pistol and Airgun Championships, held at Bisley during the May Bank Holiday weekend.  This meeting is 'open' to everyone, but includes concurrent English Championships confined to ESSU Members.
